"What kind of adult eats a kid's birthday cake and doesn't even share?": Entitled mom accuses strangers of stealing her son's birthday cake in an attempt to get more when she didn't buy enough for the party

It's kind of difficult to calculate how much cake you might need to buy for a kid's birthday party. Even if you send out all of the invites way in advance, you might find that a lot of parents refuse to respond with a confirmation. This might lead you to assume that they don't intend to show up, but it's actually better to assume that they will. You may also have to account for an extra kid or two as many parents see birthday parties as a few free hours of babysitting. In any case, it's always best to get a little more cake than you think kids would actually eat. If you're anything like my mom, you'll just get the same cake for every birthday and cut it up really small.

In our story today, a mom seems to have run out of cake for her kid's birthday party. In her panic, she manages to accuse complete strangers of stealing from her. Was this an honest mistake or an attempt to get them to fork over their birthday treat?
